Young INTELLECTUALZ ALLIANCE (YIA) is the home of the young intellectual, male or female, between the age of 7 and 15 and whose GPA is 3 and above. We are looking for bright young persons who are above- average and motivated in the pursuit of excellence in whatever role they play in their environment, ....where elementary and high school students, whose GPA is 3-and-above feel welcome and at home. Young INTELLECTUALZ ALLIANCE (YIA) where geeks, nerds, gamers, joystick jockeys, droids, professional designers, digital gadget battlefield strategists also video game players, are welcome. We are not particularly interested in high IQ scores. Geeks, nerds, gamers, joystick jockeys, droids, professional video game players, gadget designers, digital battlefield strategists, whose GPA is 3 and above, are also welcome. Young INTELLECTUALZ ALLIANCE (YIA) is an idea that we, at PITTER-PATTER ENTERPRISES, INC. (PPE), had in the "To Do" bin for years. We are motivated to expedite the installation of this feature by a young brainiac who visited our office in the summer of 2007. Quincy W., an "army brat", is a 13 year old nephew of the CEO of PPE. He is, currrently, a 9th grader at a public school in Arizona where his military officer-parent is stationed and is already selecting his college major. His reading level cannot really be assessed because his scores are "off the map" for his grade and school district. Quincy's GPA is good but not excellent and that's perfectly OK because we are not seeking to spotlight "geniuses". We are merely seeking to guide that motivated student, that budding "superior citizen of tomorrow", unto the right runway. Juiliard and the University of Rochester School of Music are colleges/schools that he is considering. Let him tell you all about it. We are inviting Quincy to be the moderator, or spokes-person for this site, (YIA), so that he can interact with other braniacs of his age and grade level.
