is created to fill a void for affordable,
low cost and, perhaps, free financial advise
for individuals or groups interested in starting
their own small businesses with little or no
financial resources such as micro loans or
credit.
We believe that any citizen with a desire
to start a business, who has well-thought-out
plans and some basic business skills, can be
successfully guided toward that goal.
With the help of volunteer mentors such
as business managers and owners, active
and retired, the aspiring entrepreneur can
make it over he hump and reduce the
problem of un-mployment, under-employment
and joblessness.

to know that we are aware of the
importance of “content” on our web
pages.
It is not sufficient to put a title on a
blank web page, stack it with ads
of a particular or non-particular theme,
and expect the general public to keep
revisiting your website.
We don’t believe visitors keepcoming back
just because a search engine
deposited them there.
We believe that the text on the pages, the “content”,
around which the ads are placed, is more important than any other reason to visit.
This is a self-help endeavor. We are
attempting to encourage persons
who are unemployed, or under-
employed, to empower
themselves
by re-tooling and returning to the
workforce as mentors and role
models.
Self-sufficiency is economically,
socially and culturally uplifting.
Ultimately, our society will be
better-off if we concentrate our
efforts in local self-sufficiency, self-improvement, then expanding
the effort to the surrounding communities. Our intent is to
rewrite the definition of “home-based business”.
Having said all that, we are appealing to
persons who feel they can teach a skill,
become mentors and enablers, to contribute
to our effort to identify citizens who are
victims of the economic down-turn, to persons who have managerial or entrepreneurial
promise or skills.
